There are two things we're all about: Jesus and community.
Let's start with community. Being alone stinks. Everyone on the planet knows what it's like to be alone, and no one likes it. Sometimes even worse than being truly alone though, is being around a whole lot of people and still being alone. Ever been to a party where everyone was talking about the weather, the latest movies, or what they do on the weekends, but no one really cared about the people they were talking to?
We're not here to all get together on Wednesday nights, pretend we know everybody, and then never talk to each other the rest of the week. We like to get into each other's lives; into the nitty gritty -- to really know each other, challenge each other, and help each other as friends. While probably no one in Cru knows everyone else in Cru, there's so many interconnected groups of close-knit friends that there's a place for everyone to get involved.
But we want to be more than just that. We're not content to just all be a community together. We want our community to grow, which is where our love for Jesus and our natural desire for community come together. We love Jesus. Plain and simple. We think he's the most awesome person to ever walk the face of the earth. And we think that our relationship with him is more fulfilling than anything else on earth. In fact, we love and enjoy him so much that we want everyone else to have the opportunity to know him too. That's the main reason that we're around.
But enough talk. The best way to get to know us is to come hang out with us. Check out a weekly meeting on Wednesday nights. Come to one of the events we have almost every weekend. Get involved with a small group. If you have questions about Christianity we've created a site that lets you find answers and ask us questions directly called allbobcats.com
